NASCAR Hall of Fame Inaugural Class:
Bill France Sr., Bill France Jr., Junior Johnson, Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt

An earlier starting time for the Indianapolis 500 likely to happen. This will accommodate drivers wishing to compete in the Indy 500 and the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 on the same day.

The IZOD Indy Car Series will return to New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The "Fastest Race in the World" will be held on July 30, 2011 in the Granite State.

2011 Sprint Cup schedule speculation: Both SMI and ISC have requested realignment date changes for next year. SMI is requesting a date for Kentucky and a second date for Las Vegas by taking races from New Hampshire and Atlanta. Kansas may gain a second NASCAR weekend from the February race at Auto Club Speedway (Fontana).
